For our Ed Tech presentation my learning pod decided to look into and discuss the pros and cons of using social media in the classroom. Our inquiry question was “Should social media be incorporated into the classroom? And if so, how?”. This is a topic I am particularly interested in and have done a fair amount of research into this topic in the past. Our conversation included our research as well as our personal views, and since these were quite different we were able to have a thoughtful conversation about both sides of the question.
For this project, I completed my own research, shared my ideas in the conversation, and was in charge of filming, editing, and posting our video to YouTube. To edit the video I used CapCut, an application that I am quite familiar with for video editing.
